Me, myself, and I

Hello, hello, hello! :)
Earlier this month I headed to Chicago to hang out & help the wonderful Sarah with a wedding. I had SUCH a great time! I got to see her super silly self, meet the beautiful Kristen Booth, and also meet the oh so wonderful Barlow family. I was so blessed by this trip, and came home feeling inspired and relaxed!

While I was there we decided to spend some time shooting each other! Here are some of the photos that Sarah shot of me. I LOVE these pictures! I feel like they really capture who I am. I am so thankful for them, and for my friendship with her.

To anyone who is insecure, self conscious, or just scared of having their picture made. Don't be! In the end the photos are SO worth it, and photographers will capture your true beauty!

Sarah, you are such an amazing and talented person. Thank you for teaching me, for constantly laughing with me, for dealing with my extremely crazy & loud self, and for being a part of my life. Your friendship is a true blessing.

And one of us girls, having fun :)

That's all for now :) Hope you are having a lovely week & staying nice and warm!

Social Bites | Vendor

Last weekend was my sisters 25th birthday (Happy birthday, Courtney!), and of course I had to have a cake made for her by the wonderful Heather of Social Bites!

Heather is SUCH an awesome girl, and has an insane amount of talent! I'm all about supporting local businesses, but I would drive from hours away to get a cake from her! I snapped a few photos, so I figured I would share! If you are in the area be sure to look her up for all your sweet treats!

and here are some of my favorites from her facebook albums! She doesn't only do cakes! She also does cupcakes, cookies, and THE cutest dessert bars!

Hope your day is super sweet!

The Wheaties!

Yesterday I met up with Emily&Kaitlyn to take some portraits of them. I've known Emily for awhile because we went to church together awhile back. But I haven't seen either of them in a few years. It was nice to catch up! These two are SO funny! They kept me laughing the entire time. Here's some of my favorites from the shoot.

Emily found this little rolly polly on the ground! He was such a little rebel, wouldn't curl up in a ball at all! Even when she poked him.

Thanks for taking the time to look! and special thanks to Emily&Kaitlyn! You girls are awesome!

Mac&Roxy - Pet Portraits

Mac and Roxy are my "nephew and niece". My sister and her husband live in south Louisiana right now, so I don't get to see them very often. They were up for the weekend and we watched their dogs for them! I snapped a few photos while we were in the backyard soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful spring weather!

Here's a few that I loved! I think they are both super adorable and love spending time with them.

Mac is the fluffiest dog ever! He loves attention, being petted, and slobbering all over me! hahaha. He also has SUPER pretty eyes are you can kind of see here.

They've had Roxy the longest. She was a teeny tiny pup once! She's fun to watch run around the yard, well... it's more of a gallop :P She is also the biggest cuddle bug ever!

Hope you all had an awesome weekend!
